I booked this Peaceful hotel to stay with my mother to visit my brother who is in south mead hospital the staff were all professional and made us very welcome. The hotel was warm and cozy, and we loved the location. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which we utilized with Uber taxis and a five-minute walk to the most beautiful English church Saint Mary’s, where we received a special blessing for the healing of the sick, which was perfect for my dear brother. Few photos of the church and one photo of us in the garden of the hotel and westbury is close by for good cafes and shopping. Sorry I didn’t get more photographs of the hotel but it’s very much like staying someone’s home and we felt at home there. If I ever come back to visit Bristol, this is the hotel I would stay at it was perfect.

The staff were all so lovely and friendly and attentive, both at reception and in the breakfast. They really go above and beyond to help make the stay perfect. I love the combination of the old-style breakfast room and bedrooms and the modern bathrooms. The breakfast was lovely and I particularly appreciated the effort to reduce food waste by getting guests to order something in particular. A personalised breakfast and reducing food waste. Double win! Near the accommodation is a big park and woods, and if you get to the top of the hill there is a gorgeous view and also a small castle.

I can't comment on much as my partner and I only stayed here for a night and we arrived very late at night after driving back from London. However, the gentleman working that night shift was very polite, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and I would stay here again. The only thing I would suggest (for us who like a milky and sweet coffee) is if you could add an extra 1 sugar and milk per person, not all of us like only 1 drop of milk. However, it was good that coffee was provided.

A very nice country style lodge hotel, the rooms were huge and came with everything you need, including an electronic safe, iron, extra pillows. There was a hairdryer but it wasn’t very powerful. The bathrooms are very modern and spacious. There is free parking at the front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. It was about a 20 minute drive into the city centre, which cost around £12-20 with Uber depending on the time of day. For the price we paid, I wouldn’t hesitant to come back again.

Great from booking to booking out was completely brilliant. We were a family of four and booked two rooms for two nights at a very good price. We were travelling from Bedfordshire for a family funeral and arrived quite late. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and professional receptionist. She handed us our keys to the annexe building. The rooms were a delight, very clean, beds were very comfortable and a lovely bathroom.. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
